Writing:

Aid in every stage of the writing process, including content-knowledge development, planning, outlining, formatting, drafting, refining, titling and finalizing the piece. In each phase, we focus on overall structure, strong development of original ideas/sound logic and a solid command of proper grammar and usage. This model easily applies to expository essays, creative pieces and various assignments from other classes, such as the written portion of a science project or a report for history class.

Speaking:

Similar to writing as far as the planning process; entirely different means of delivery. We’ll use the preparation-improves- confidence theory, breaking down the preparation portion to  everything from thorough research to effective posture to vocal  projection. Students will self-evaluate progress through video-analysis of their own speeches.
